DroidMiner is a free app without advertisements, in-app purchases, paid upgrades, or analytics tracking, just a skippable 1% mining dev fee.
It is based on MacMiner which primarily focuses on energy efficient mining, allowing for mining in the background without overwhelming the system.
System Requirements
The algorithm’s supported are Ethash (requires just over 4GB VRAM) and Kawpow (requires just over 3GB VRAM). In future builds we will support other algorithms, please check back for updates.
The application has been built to run Android 5.0, it has only been tested with Android 12 using the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Please share your experience with the app to help up build out support for more devices.
Known Issues
The app is set to only mine if plugged into power, and will automatically stop mining if the phone reverts to battery power.
The app will also stop mining if the thermal status gets above high.
The app may terminate in the background unless you specifically go into the app info > battery page and set it to run unrestricted.
